Great food, prices are kinda the same in the area but they need to be more abundant in my opinion ... But overall is good!
Great service amazing food
The peruvian fried seafood was salty and margarita was nasty
Nice atmosphere, great service, good food
Delicious food we"ll back againg 😍
Not recommended portion too small ,the waitress take for ever to came and bring the food Instead of bring all together was one then after 20 minute my husband food then my children if you want to wait a long time here is the place and I’m not recommend to come with the children also waitress was rude because I ask if she can bring rice and beans for one of my child by telling me I cannot change the manu hellooo I didn’t ask to change but to get me a orden of beans !!! 👎👎👎👎
Charming small restaurant with delectable traditional Peruvian dishes, that are fresh and flavorful. The staff is friendly and efficient, providing excellent service. Highly recommend.
The sangria is tasty and the chaufa (Peruvian fried rice) is delicious! Actually, everything I have had here has been great. The place gets busy and there can be a short wait at times...but it's worth it. Not too expensive either.
Excellent food and service. Only complaint is the really loud music that can drown a conversation.
Small but very welcoming and cozy. Food was good (not the best Peruvian out there, but still very authentic). The pisco sours were very good. Portions were appropriate for the prices too, so it was worth it. Service was kinda off that day I went, seems they had some problems with staff but the waitress that served us tried to be as efficient as possible. I had the chicharron de calamares and a arroz chaufa Oh Calamres which was delicious. Like I said portions are generous so plan to eat a lot, take some home or share.
Food and service e exelentNice, comfortable and quaint Mostly locals
Restaurant has live music. Friendly vibe. Had their Pisco sour drink and it was good but strong. Their shrimp was delicious. Good place to try if you like Peruvian food!
I went there on a delivery and was a serious delayed of a ustomer's order. Stood waiting for 45 min for an order that was already paid for. Lost out on $ so my 1st time there was very disappointing. The ambiance there felt good.
I certainly enjoy the food and customer service, fantastic location nearby to where I live. The cashiers are always super friendly. Would recommend to others.
The best Peruvian food I ate ever.. nice atmosphere on Sundays with excellent musicians. 10 stars for this place
This place is worth a try. They have large portions for affordable rates. Consistently neat and with fantastic ambience. Would recommend to others.
Food was ok, they can fill up the plate more.
The food is horrible the service is even worse. I dropped at least $150 here the other night and my date wasn’t happy either. The only thing that saved this experience was the live band they had. I still won’t be returning
Today is July 28th Peruvian independence, we order ceviche hoping to have a good time. The ceviche was $200, I’m sorry but the ceviche was horrible. The whole thing tasted like it was made yesterday disgusting!! We could not eat it.We tried to call to tell them our situation and they hanged up the phone on us twice Will not recommend this place to anybody Worst July 28th ever thanks for ruining it
Best Peruvian food in the area and great service. The live music on Sundays it's so great. Talented group
$$$ it's a little pricey for your everyday lunch, look for semi-special or special occasions it'll do. Like a fool chicken with some potatoes to go is $20. Now this is authentically Peruvian that even the waiters and waitresses are from Peru. Good food and even better service!!!!!!!
This spot is one of my favorites! Reasonable prices, considerable portions and the staff members are always super nice.
The flavor is superb. Don't hesitate in coming here for lunch!
LOVE this place! It’s our go to for Peruvian esp when we have family or friends in town! The food taste so fresh. The lomo there is by far my favorite, great now I want lomo!
Great music and food. Great to hang out with friends and family
I’m thrilled 😁 And that’s the very least that I can say after coming to this place! My family and I had the most perfect dinner, the restaurant was really cozy, the atmosphere was unbeatable, the staff checked on our table constantly and so did the manager who welcomed us with a big smile and made sure we were all comfortable!Last but not least THE FOOD!!!I CAN’T GET OVER HOW GOOD AND FLAVORFUL THE FOOD IN THIS PLACE IS AND UNLIKE SOME PEOPLE WROTE THEIR PORTION ARE NOT SMALL WHATSOEVER.Everyone should try the grilled octopus and their anticucho.Highly recommend
The wait to place an order was ridiculous.Aside from that the food was not what I had expected - my friend and I ordered the combination of calamares /shrimps/mussels/ and my favorite- scallops ...What we got was not worth at all - from the plate we were only able to see the shrimps (very small ) the mussels and scallops were no where to be seen - if any that we found were little mini ones - so small you could hardly see any .The bread which is customary in almost every restaurant to be placed on the table once we start going through the Menu before placing our order - never arrived .After a long wait trying to get the waitress attention , we were told that the bread and butter was to be purchased if we wanted any .They placed no water - no bread - long long wait - the food was disastrous and it was so pricey !!We definitely will never come back to this restaurant- there are so many out there to chooose from ..
I love their food, today they were.short on staff so we waited almost hour 20 minutes for our food...but everything was delicious. And staff even though they were very busy because they didnt have much help, they were very nice and did the best they could.
Great food, callea great dish. The server David went above and beyond to help us choose since we are not familiar with food. Highly recommended this place. Gracias.
Good place. Good service. Great food! I love this place for its food. I find this place has food that compliments the Peruvian palate I would say I have. My family and friends also like this place, many of which are not Peruvian. This is not to mention the service is great. I had an incident where my husband didn’t get his food order correct and we had to wait for the chef to make it over again. At first I was annoyed but the customer service really showed when they apologized right away and even took off an item on the bill. Mistakes happen, but how you answer to them shows how you value your customers. Good job!
Decent food, service was ok
It was not our first time here but probably the last! The place is known for great see food, fresh with big portions, friendly and attentive staff... However, this last visit proved to be all the opposite! Our usual dishes were half the size they used to be, cold, and very expensive! We ordered calamari, fish, and steak with a pitcher of sangria and our bill was almost $300! The dishes were cold, the fish what was the best whole fish I had crispy, seasoned perfectly to taste, and fresh off the fire! This time the fish was cold, soggy and undercooked! The staff didn't check in and were not responsive very much... We were so surprised and disappointed! Oh! Calamares no more for our family.
One of the best Peruvian restaurants in the north Jersey area. Food tastes authentic. Happy and welcoming atmosphere. No complaints about the service. Parking is sometimes an issue.
Amazing experience! Food was amazing, staff was very friendly! I’ll definitely come back and recommend it to my friends!
Good food I love it specially seafood ..
Love the choros and the octopus I only go fot these two.
Great food, but today March 08, 2020 the waitresses forgot to ask my order and I had to remind them I was not even asked if I want something to drink..
I was expecting more for this place due to reviews, But unfortunately i was very dissapointed with the whole experience. Small portions to start, pricey and long wait.
I LOVE it here. The staff is wonderful. The chaufas fried rice has been a staple of mine for years. I just tried a new dish last night and they continue to impress. And the green hot sauce.. I want to be buried with the green hot sauce.
Steak and eggs... steak was a little dry. Sangria is good but strong be ready for it. Ceviche was amazing and spicy. Yuka fries were the perfect mix of soft and crispy.
First time eating here. Upon entering it felt like a place tourist would visit when they came to Peru. There were plenty of options on the menu. I ordered the Tacu Tacu with fish. When the dish arrived it lacked color and I thought I would be disappointed. However, with my first bite the flavors exploded in my mouth. This was unexpected. It was so delicious. For dessert I had the Tre Leche. It was very firm and delicious. They have a nice variety of alcohol beverages. I had the traditional Inca Kola. I would recommend this restaurant. The restaurant has no parking but there is metered street parking and a metered city parking lot directly across the street.
Great food and awesome live music.
My friend loves this place and we had the most delicious, delectable meal. The service and drinks were amazing too. . . We had the traditional Peruvian rice dish and the tastiest steak with onion, tomato and potatoesThe free corn nuts and spicy dip were also yummy. Can't wait to return
My first time there I enjoyed it the food was delishes.. will definitely be going back
I was here with my wife and two sons we had just come from my wife's graduation ceremony at the Prudential Center in Newark and I thought of this place because I had been there before with some friends from work and I needed to impress the wife and kids, and let me tell you, this place did not disappoint the food was good the presentation of the food was also good which to me is very important. The only reason I don't give a 5 star is because they only had one waiter and I had to wait for water plus they didn't have a dessert that was listed on the menu.
Great food, recommend arroz chaufa.
I came with my family in a group of 15.And We had a great experience. We called ahead of time but they didn’t make reservations and the lady over the phone said that the wait list was about 1:30hrs. We waited patiently because we were aware that it was mother’s day and that every place would be packed and they didn’t lie about the wait. Thankfully we had an amazing service. Food was very flavorful. And my husband tried Peruvian food for the first time and he fell in love with it.Will definitely recommend to all my family and friends.
Love it! Great place for birthday parties.
